Our client, a leader in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a Weekend Shift CNC Operator/Machinist to join their team. As a Weekend Shift CNC Operator/Machinist, you will be part of a dynamic production team supporting various projects. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively, which will align successfully with the organization's goals.

**Job Title:** Weekend Shift CNC Operator/Machinist

**Location:** Oklahoma City, OK

**Pay Range:** $23 per hour

**Work Schedule:** Friday to Sunday, 5 am to 5:30 pm. Work 36 hours, paid for 40.

What's the Job?

+ Prepare and program CNC machines with setup sheets.

+ Create, run, edit, and improve existing programs, setting up machines and running initial programs.

+ Procure tooling necessary for jobs and calculate speeds and feeds according to the material.

+ Perform first article inspection and validate machine programs and work instructions before machining.

+ Document actions by completing work order routings and maintain safe operations by adhering to safety policies and procedures.

What's Needed?

+ Strong math skills for inputting specific dimensions and figures into the CNC machinery.

+ Ability to analyze blueprints and other documents to ensure the final product matches the draft.

+ Strong computer skills as CNC operators use software to control machinery.

+ Understanding of machine operations to maintain machinery effectively.

+ Problem-solving skills to detect issues in the creation process and find solutions.
