What You Will Learn:
The Senior Analyst will have financial reporting and analysis responsibilities for the CeraVe DMI brand within the L'Oréal Dermatological Beauty Affaire Produit. This position works directly with the DMI Finance Controller, the ACD DMI Marketing Teams, the DMI General Management, and the Corporate Finance Team in Paris in managing the DMI P&L in order to promote optimal decision making within the business.
+ Provide Financial support and guidance to the DMI Finance Leads and the DMI Marketing teams
+ Manage the A&P budget file in totality including planned and actual spend and ensure expenses are classified in accordance to the LOreal Finance Norms
+ Responsibility for monthly closing journal entries, actuals reporting and analysis
+ Monthly closing of the COMPASS Cost Module and Monthly COMPASS Officializations
+ Responsibility for A&P & SG&A budget and trend creation and maintenance in Compass
+ Inform Financial Controller of risks & opportunities identified through budget management and ongoing meetings with business partners
+ Ad hoc analysis to evaluate spend and enable management to make sound business decisions
+ Ad hoc projects to improve controls / reporting
+ Monthly Analysis of Worldwide Net Sales
+ Aid in the Monthly Consolidation of AFP Finished Goods and Samples Margin Summary & PIG Reporting
+ Partner with Supply Chain and Operations Finance Teams for proper maintenance of the Product Hierarchy and accurate reporting of PVIS
+ Aid in the Budget / Trend Build of AFP Transfer Pricing
+ Monthly Margin checks through analysis of the Internal, Triflow, and Export Business Models
+ New Product Launch Finance Liaison between DMI Marketing and Operations Teams
+ Provide commentary on a monthly basis and during Budget / Trend builds for the Brands Gross Margin Analysis
+ Partner with the Industrial Development Team to ensure spending levels fall within Budgeted / Trended approved amounts (Liaison with the French Team for their Industrial Development requirements).
What We Are Looking For:
Required Qualifications:
+ Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting or equivalent experience required
+ 2 - 5 years of experience in finance preferred (MBA/CPA a plus)
+ Strong computer skills required (Excel a must)
+ SAP or TM1/Cognos a plus
+ Must possess strong analytical and problem solving skills; business acumen; leadership skills; oral and written communication skills; and excellent interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications:
+ MBA/CPA a plus
+ Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced work environment

+ Comes from consumer product finance background, beauty industry would be great
+ Day to day management of the POs
Hard Skills:
+ Master in Excel - highlight that on the CV with strong examples of finance management
+ Working knowledge of SAP
+ Compass experience would be great
+ Magnitude experience would be a plus as well
Soft Skills:
+ Excellent Communication - replying on this person to be a messenger, a median, an informer and an enforcer, lead conversation with budget owners for trends and budget
