POSITION SUMMARY
This position is challenged with supporting the receipt, distribution, inventory, and overall disposition of Information Technology & Services equipment including but not limited to computers, servers, monitors, and related IT consumables. Maintains real-time reports on current inventory levels, fixed asset status (depreciation schedules), and conducting quarterly inventories of all IT stockage. _Performs all functions according to established policies, procedures, regulatory and accreditation requirements, as well as applicable professional standards._
CORE FUNCTIONS
1. Responsible for keeping IT asset inventory stocked, organized, and properly accounted for using automated systems (ServiceNow). Responsible for reconciling hardware, software, peripherals, printers, monitors, laptops, tablets, etc. that’s ordered against what has been received, apply property tags to all equipment per standard operating procedures, log all equipment disbursement to SQL employees, then annotate all equipment decommissioning in the system of record (ServiceNow).
2. Actively maintain a current inventory of all IT assets, their current location, who is individually responsible for said equipment including assigning cost centers for all assets and annotating any fixed assets (CAPEX) for fixed assets tracking and reporting. Manage all hardware stock levels throughout the environment identifying re-order points based on current stock levels and/or forecast demands driven by business requirements.
3. Ensure compliance with lifecycle management processes for all IT assets (procurement; receiving; distribution; decommissioning). Assists management with process improvement initiatives to improve the quality, timeliness, and performance of the lifecycle processes through improved tools/processes, communication, and data analysis.
4. Serves as the main point of contact for all internal SQL departments and external vendors ensuring requirements are understood, equipment is properly ordered, billed, deployed, tracked, and regularly inventoried.
5. Coordinate the procurement, delivery, and inventory management of all IT assets used by IT&S Desktop Support Field Services personnel supporting remote site locations including Patient Service Centers, Rapid Response Labs, client sites (IOPs) and the Papago facility. Ensure Field Services personnel receive requested equipment in a timely manner while also complying with inventory accountability.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
+ High School diploma or equivalent.
+ 3-4 years logistics experience with emphasis on inventory control and asset distribution in a geographically disbursed organization.
+ Valid and current driver's license and ability to successfully maintain same.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
+ Familiarity with IT related technologies and hardware to better understand customer requirements and accurately identify, label, and inventory IT assets.
+ Applying highly developed, specialized knowledge and skills in logistics to define procedural improvements that sustain accurate asset inventories, physical security procedures, and overall property accountability.
+ Experience using automated inventory managements system(s); ServiceNow experience highly desirable.
