    Job Description:

    As an **Associate Product Manager – HVAC Electronics** , you will guide a team that is responsible for increasing the profitability of existing products as well as developing innovative new products for the organization. You possess a unique blend of business and technical savvy, big-picture strategic thinking, and the ability to make day to day tactical decisions as well. You will spend time researching the existing market, finding new markets for your product line, understanding customer needs and problems, and creating products that address them. Needless to say, you must be a great communicator because you will work across departments - Engineering, Marketing, Procurement, Sales, Quality, and Manufacturing. In short, you will be the evangelist for your product line, helping the team go build products that customers love.

    As An Associate Product Manager, You Will:

    + Proactively manage new product development deliverables in harmony with established NPD procedures including customer and third party coordination

    + Analyze competitive products, product line strategies, strengths, and weaknesses

    + Analyze and synthesize market dynamics, legislation, competitive assessments, segmentation analysis, and end user needs with product application expertise to generate a stream of new product development ideas

    + Evaluate new product idea potential and practicality with respect to market opportunities and their effect on present products, and exploit economically attractive opportunities

    + Develop the business case and financial justification for product line initiatives

    + Manage all aspects of the product life cycle, including SKU management, product line sales and profitability, cost reduction opportunities, quality/reliability improvements, competitive pricing/positioning, forecasting, and end-of-life planning. Assess product line performance and implement appropriate actions

    + Keep abreast and knowledgeable of delivery performance, capacity utilization, engineering product changes and customer quality acceptance

    + Serve as liaison to appropriate industry associations providing market, product, and application expertise. Assist with internal market research, and create training and promotional materials

    + Interact and work cooperatively with all levels of internal staff

    REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCES & SKILLS:

    + BS in Engineering or other relevant majors, or the equivalent in practical experience.

    + Foundational experience in market analysis, product research, and competitive mapping, with an interest in applying marketing insights to support product strategy in technical manufacturing environments.

    + Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to develop and deliver clear, engaging presentations tailored to diverse audiences.

    + Legal work authorization in the United States - Sponsorship will not be provided for this role

    PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCES & SKILLS

    + Master degree with technical background

    + Minimum of 2-5 years product management related work experience

    + Working knowledge of the markets, products, customers, and competitors in the HVAC industry, preferably as it relates to electronic controls

    Collaboration First Hybrid Work Arrangements:

    This role is hybrid eligible with the requirement to be in office at least three days per week. Colleagues are expected to demonstrate a collaboration first mindset, which is the understanding that teams will work together in-person and colleagues should be flexible to adjust their hybrid days based on business needs. You will have an opportunity to work with your team and leader to determine when you should be in office to drive meaningful connections and to best serve our customers.
