In this role, you will:
+ Develop, implement, and monitor risk-based programs to identify, assess, and mitigate any operational risk that arises from inadequate or failed internal processes, people, systems, or external events
+ Maintain a balance between risk mitigation and operational efficiency
+ Evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of policies, procedures, processes, systems, and internal controls
+ Analyze extremely complex business and system changes to determine impact, identify operational risk issues and participate in the development of risk ratings
+ Provide operational risk expertise and consulting to complex business units for initiatives with high risk, generally spanning multiple business lines
+ Design and develop the most complex testing strategies, methodologies and analyses
+ Consult with the business to develop corrective action plans and effectively manage change
+ Identify training opportunities
+ Design and coordinate the development of training materials and coordinate or deliver training
+ Report findings and develop business cases to influence executive management, management committee member or head of business on the need for controls to mitigate risk
+ Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
+ Lead project or virtual teams and mentor less experienced staff
Required Qualifications:
+ 5+ years of Operational Risk experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
+ Experience with branch banking and/or retail banking.
+ Experience overseeing front line execution of Risk Programs such as: Risk and Control Self-Assessment (RCSA), Issue Management, Change and transformation management, Operational Risk Events.
+ Demonstrated ability to challenge status-quo and provide thoughtful solutions or alternatives to challenges.
+ Experience designing, deploying and/or maturing risk-based, data-driven, and action-oriented monitoring activities.
+ Experience in reviewing, challenging, and escalating large-scale change initiatives through creating of independent risk point of views in collaboration with other IRM partners
+ Strong relationship management skills with the demonstrated ability to influence, partner, and negotiate with multiple stakeholders, across layers of a hierarchical organization, to gain commitment and accomplish goals in a fast-paced environment
+ Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, including the ability to articulate complex concepts in a clear manner across all levels of the organization
+ Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy, and demonstrated outcomes of critical thinking
+ Experience partnering with a vast and diverse portfolio of business activities and colleagues.
+ Experience in improving, simplifying, and automating processes, risks, and control with a focus on high inherent risk areas
+ Experience in reducing issues, resolving issues on time, performing root cause analysis, and escalating early any off-track items
+ Experience in achieving and sustaining an “Effective” rated risk and control environment

Pay Range
Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.
$111,100.00 - $197,500.00
