Reporting to senior leadership, you’ll define the strategic direction of product compliance, ensuring our products and services meet global regulatory requirements while accelerating secure and compliant product delivery!

This is a pivotal leadership role that requires a deep understanding of the evolving global compliance landscape, a strong technical foundation, and proven experience in leading teams to embed compliance into the software development lifecycle. You will partner with Engineering, Product, Legal, Security, and Sales teams to drive compliance maturity and position Splunk as a trusted technology partner in both the commercial and public sectors!

    What You'll Get to Do

+ Lead and grow a team of product compliance product managers, setting priorities, fostering development, and driving high-impact outcomes across multiple workstreams.

+ Set the strategic vision for product compliance, aligning with company goals and ensuring scalable, repeatable processes for compliance across the product lifecycle.

+ Shape cross-functional compliance strategy across engineering, product, and legal teams to proactively balance compliance requirements with speed-to-market.

+ Lead all aspects of the development and execution of product compliance roadmaps to meet and maintain global industry certifications and regulatory frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, SOC 2, FedRAMP, PCI-DSS, ISMAP, IRAP).

+ Serve as a trusted advisor to executive partners on emerging compliance risks and strategic trade-offs.

+ Guide the development and implementation of processes, tools, and automation to support compliance-by-design.

+ Represent Splunk as a leader with a point of view in customer, partner, and regulator-facing engagements related to product and data compliance.

+ Stay abreast of global regulatory trends and translate them into actionable insights and requirements for product teams.

    Must-Have Qualifications

+ 10+ years of experience in product compliance and regulatory frameworks, including 5+ years in a leadership or people management capacity.

+ Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams and managing compliance programs in a fast-paced, agile product development environment.

+ Deep knowledge of compliance and certification requirements for global security and data compliance frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, SOC 2, FedRAMP, PCI-DSS, ISMAP, IRAP).

+ Strong executive communication and partner leadership skills with the ability to influence across technical and business teams.

+ Experience navigating ambiguity and making strategic decisions in sophisticated global regulatory environments.

+ Bachelor’s degree in a related field required; Master’s degree preferred.

+ Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISA, CISM, GIAC) strongly preferred.
