The Amazon Pay team is looking for a Senior Product Manager- Technical to scale its points of acceptance globally. This role will be responsible for creating a long-term strategy, partnering with payment processors, and building new integrations that enable Amazon Pay to grow its merchant base exponentially.
The ideal candidate dreams big on how we can deliver value to our customers, has experience in leading large scale technical integrations with external partners, and has deep technical expertise in the payments domain. Key job responsibilities
- Develop the partner integration roadmap and responsible for executing against that roadmap
- Drive cross-functional partnership to deliver your vision with senior leaders across other Amazon organizations.
- Develop product and solution requirements, working backwards from the customer with an understanding of the end-to-end customer and merchant experience.
- Partner closely with the engineering organization on developing and scaling the architecture to deliver your vision, understanding and guiding where there are technical synergies with other organizations

About the team
The Amazon Pay product team is responsible for scaling Amazon Pay's merchant base (points of acceptance) globally. Our goal is to make Amazon Pay a ubiquitous payment method for Amazon customers anywhere they shop online. To achieve this goal we partner with solution providers, or payment service providers to enable Amazon Pay as a payment method on merchant websites. We obsess over simplifying the partner integrations, and finding innovative solutions that can reduce partner integration time.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
- Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
- Experience managing technical products or online services
- Experience in representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning
- 5+ years of technical product or program management experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in using analytical tools, such as Tableau, Qlikview, QuickSight
- Experience in building and driving adoption of new tools

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $136,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $235,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
