    We are seeking a Sr. Principal (Level 4) Requirements and Verification Lead to join our talented team. This position is located onsite in Redondo Beach, CA.

    What You’ll get to Do:

    As the Requirements and Verification Lead on this team, you will be leading a team to define, develop, decompose, analyze, verify, and validate requirements. In this role, you will be interacting with the customer and leadership to define and maintain the technical baseline. Ultimately, it is your responsibility to help drive the program through maturity and milestones to achieve the mission, ensuring everything is horizontally synchronized across software and systems engineering teams and processes are in place to develop requirements.

    You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

    + 8 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor of Science degree in a STEM discipline; 6 years of relevant experience with a Masters degree; 4 years of experience with a PhD

    + Working knowledge of systems engineering principles and processes

    + Working experience with software based systems

    + Experience using the DOORS Requirements Management Database

    + Able to communicate effectively and clearly present technical approaches and findings to program leadership and customers

    + Prior working experience developing requirements and verification processes

    + Ability to travel up to 10%

    + Active TS/SCI security clearance at time of application

    These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

    + Experience working in an Agile development environment

    + Familiarity with Model Based Systems Engineering languages (SysML, UML) and tools (Cameo)

    + Ability to work with a geographically dispersed team

    + Excellent technical writing and team building skills

     

    Salary Range: $137,400.00 - $206,000.00

     

    The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

     

    Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
