We are seeking a Sr. Principal (Level 4) Interfaces Lead to join our talented team. This position is located onsite in Redondo Beach, CA.

What You’ll get to Do:

As an Interfaces Lead on this team, you will be responsible for defining interface framework in the Cameo MBSE toolkit. You will coordinate with the SEIT lead and SW lead to define the interfaces documentation approach and lead/define development of the interfaces processes.

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

+ 8 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor of Science degree in a STEM discipline; 6 years of relevant experience with a Masters degree; 3 years of experience with a PhD

+ Familiarity with Model Based Systems Engineering languages (SysML, UML)

+ Prior experience defining interface framework

+ Able to communicate effectively and clearly present technical approaches and findings to program leadership and customers

+ Experience working with software-based systems

+ Active TS/SCI security clearance at time of application

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

+ Experience working in an Agile development environment

+ Prior experience with Cameo toolkit

+ Familiarity with Ground SW Systems

+ Excellent technical writing skills

Salary Range: $137,400.00 - $206,000.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
