    Overview

     

    Select Medical is pleased to offer the **Instructional Designer Internship** at our corporate office located in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania. This **10-week paid internship** is designed for **college juniors or seniors** who wish to study and experience the operations of a health care company with multiple subsidiaries throughout the U.S. We are searching for **highly motivated, energetic, mature individuals** to assist in instructional design project work beginning **Monday, June 2, 2025** and extending for ten weeks with completion on **Friday, August 8, 2025.**

    Our Instructional Design interns will work closely with the Select Medical Education and Development team to develop engaging educational materials that support workforce development and organizational initiatives. Interns will assist with designing and implementing instructor-led and e-learning training solutions that enhance employee performance and skill development. In addition, they will gain hands-on experience in supporting a world-class learning management system.

     

    The rate is $15.00 per hour.

     

    The internship is on-site in Mechanicsburg, PA. **It is not remote.**

    Responsibilities

    + Support the development and implementation of e-learning courses using authoring tools

    + Provide light multimedia and web-based program design support

    + Utilize the company’s Learning Management System (LMS) to build and maintain educational initiatives

    Qualifications

    + You must be pursuing a bachelors degree in Instructional Design or related majors.

    + Your **sophomore year must be completed** before the internship starts.

    + Your attendance for the entire internship is required.
