Security Shift Supervisor

**Work location:** Texas Health Plano, 6200 W Parker Road, Plano TX 75093
**Work hours:** Full Time, 40 hours/week – 2:00pm-10:30pm

Here’s What You Need
• H.S. Diploma or equivalent required
• Associate's Degree Business Administration, Criminal Justice, Law Enforcement, Security or closely related field preferred
• 2 years security or law enforcement or military police REQUIRED
• Drivers License Class C and insurable Upon Hire required
• Commissioned Security Officer Texas Private Security Level 2 (not required if have Level 3) 14 Days Required
• Commissioned Security Officer Texas Private Security Level 3 (2 attempts permitted). Biannual recertification. 60 Days Required
• TASER Certification Complete Course & Certification (2 attempts permitted). Annual recertification. 60 Days Required
• Other Field Training Officer Certification 12 Months Required
• ACPI - Advanced Crisis Prevention Intervention Training maintained annually 30 Days Required
What You Will Do
• Oversees operations on assigned shifts
• Leads security briefings for officers and distributes equipment
• Responds to calls for service and disturbances.
• Reviews shift paperwork and reports
• Develop shift schedule and assignments
• Perform role of officer in charge in the absence of supervisor
• Participates in the Texas Health Threat Assessment Team for assigned area and monitors for correct utilization.
• Performs officer duties as needed
