Job Title: Certified Medical Assistant
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Certified Medical Assistant to join our team in providing exceptional care to patients. The role involves assisting a dermatologist with various medical procedures and ensuring smooth operations in the clinic.
Responsibilities
+ Room patients and document all vital information accurately.
+ Scribe information for the dermatologist during consultations.
+ Provide post-operative wound care to patients.
+ Draw blood and perform suture removal.
+ Clean and stock exam rooms regularly.
+ Schedule patient appointments efficiently.
+ Assist the dermatologist with surgical photographs, biopsies, and patch testing.
Essential Skills
+ Active CMA certifications.
+ Several years of hands-on experience as a Medical Assistant.
+ Proficiency with computers, including Microsoft Office and Electronic Medical Record systems.
+ Ability to multi-task, prioritize appropriately, and work well both individually and as part of a team.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Certified Medical Assistant, Licensed Practical Nurse, or Registered Nurse is strongly preferred.
+ High School Diploma required.
+ 1-2 years of recent experience in a medical office in a similar capacity is preferred.
+ Must keep current on all state certifications, licenses, and/or registrations.
+ Must possess organizational and communication skills.
+ Willingness to travel to other clinic locations as needed.
Work Environment
The position offers a Monday to Friday schedule from 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.
