    Job Title: Engineering TechnicianJob Description

     

    This is a field service technician role requiring proximity to multiple locations within Los Angeles, such as Santa Fe Springs, Pasadena, Hollywood, and Vernon. The role involves working the evening swing shift from 2:00 PM to midnight.

    Responsibilities

    + Maintain GPS systems on fleet vehicles, including electronic devices such as GPS and tablets.

    + Troubleshoot and test new GPS equipment.

    + Install and test systems and devices.

    + Perform data reporting.

    + Conduct firmware updates and installations.

    + Commission and decommission software.

    Essential Skills

    + Experience with GPS localization and troubleshooting.

    + Proficiency with multimeters.

    + Knowledge of electronic and telematics systems.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Basic mechanical skills.

    + Electrical certification is a plus.

    + Experience in audio installation is a plus.

    Work Environment

    This role involves traveling to different sites to service, troubleshoot, and install GPS systems, as well as implementing new products. The evening swing shift is from 2:00 PM to midnight, with overtime pay available. A company vehicle and gas card are provided.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $23.00/hr.
