Job Title: Electrical Designer. Must have an Electrical Engineering Degree!

Job Description

The role of the Electrical Designer involves leading key activities for municipal Water/Wastewater system projects, focusing on electrical design and development.

MUST BE Proficiency in Auto-CAD.

Responsibilities

+ Perform field investigation and condition assessment of electrical power distribution and control equipment.

+ Develop design for electrical distribution, lighting system, and control system for Water and Wastewater facilities using recognized industry standards and specifications.

+ Utilize preliminary knowledge of instrumentation devices such as level, pressure, temperature, and flow.

+ Execute system calculations and studies for electrical power systems, including load flows, voltage drops, and short circuit/coordination studies using electrical analytical software (SKM Tools).

+ Attend design meetings with clients and other design consultants involved in the project.

Essential Skills

+ Working knowledge of standards and codes related to electrical distribution and control systems.

+ Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.

+ Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.

+ Minimum of 2 years design experience, though not necessarily from an A/E firm.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $34.00/hr.
