Job Description
Actalent is hiring a Business Development Manager for a full-time role.The Business Development Manager (BDM) is a strategic sales and market leader responsible for driving new business within the Clinical Services practice, mainly FSP. The BDM focuses on growth strategies within dedicated verticals, collaborating with account managers to educate and lead strategic initiatives. This role involves cultivating relationships with existing clients to expand business and partnering with internal leaders to ensure a consistent approach for prospective customers. Success requires a goal-oriented individual with demonstrated success in engineering services and accountability for revenue generation and business growth.
Responsibilities
+ Identify new Clinical Services opportunities within target accounts aligned with strategic focus.
+ Provide subject-matter expertise by understanding the competitive landscape in Clinical Services for Bio-Pharma, Biotech, and Medical Devices industries.
+ Utilize consultative selling techniques to increase market share by expanding deal size and enhancing service value.
+ Achieve growth goals by expanding current account relationships and acquiring new accounts.
+ Demonstrate strong business acumen to navigate sales processes, presentations, contracts, negotiations, and reporting.
+ Consistently interface with customers to build relationships with executive sponsors and key decision-makers.
+ Report and manage account plans, performing root cause analysis to address performance gaps.
+ Provide expertise in vertical industry to target and win new business in assigned accounts.
+ Enlist Corporate functions to ensure proper functioning in large account setups, including compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements.
+ Build and maintain strong alliances with Delivery Operations for continuous business process improvement.
+ Demonstrate leadership skills including relationship building, organizational agility, and command skills.
Essential Skills
+ Experience in Clinical Services sales.
+ Proven success in initiating, cultivating, and managing large accounts, preferably Fortune 500.
+ Strong collaboration skills with the ability to drive deals to closure.
+ Competence with the Microsoft Office suite.
+ Proficiency in Salesforce / Connected.
+ Ability to follow sales systems, documentation, and organizational skills.
+ High-energy and self-starter attitude.
+ Demonstrates high levels of personal character and integrity.
+ Team player who collaborates and builds excitement around the organization.
+ Proven ability to align customer goals with company solutions.
+ Goal-oriented individual with proven results in staffing or professional services industry.
+ Willingness to travel nationally.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience in selling FSP capabilities.
+ Client-facing experience in bio-pharma/biotech industries.
+ Experience in life sciences and outside sales.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $160000.00/yr.
