JOB SUMMARY
The Team Member Relations (TMR) Regional Manager will oversee the assigned region’s TMR function, which may include issues related to policy concerns, team member investigations, advisement, training and other TMR activities. The individual will communicate directly with leaders and physicians on TMR matters, driving consistency and maintaining relationships at the regional level.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE ROLE
Manage the assigned region’s TMR function, which may include issues related to policy concerns, team member investigations, training, disciplinary actions and other TMR activities.
Communicates directly with leaders and physicians on TMR matters including training and team member investigations, driving consistency and maintaining relationships at the regional level; serving as the primary contact for team member relations issues, addressing complaints, issues and policy violations in a timely manner and in accordance with established disciplinary policies and procedures.
Partners with Regional HR Strategic Business Services team to ensure that HR Services are provided in compliance with established policies, procedures and practices.
Implements continuous process improvement, including new models, tools and technologies that standardize, automate and optimize BSWH TMR processes.
Ensures effective investigation and resolution of all (moderate, high and critical-risk) TMR cases in assigned region originating through all BSWH platforms including cases from PeoplePlace, HRSBS, Compliance HelpLine, MIDAS and other escalation channels; including implementing a range of initiatives, audits and representation involving investigations and escalation of concerns.
Leads the assessment and delivery of education, communication and training initiatives in the regions that address operational and regulatory requirements for TMR, including labor readiness strategy and timely communication to leadership and team members on significant, relevant changes in HR policies and practices.
Monitors and drives consistent delivery of HR policies and practices across assigned region and ensures compliance with all applicable employment laws and regulations pertaining to Human Resources.
Performs other position appropriate duties as required in a competent, professional and courteous manner.
KEY SUCCESS FACTORS
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or equivalent related field required.
4+ years of experience in Team Member Relations preferred.
HR Certifications preferred (e.g., SPHR, PHR, SHRM-SCP, SHRM-CP).
Thorough understanding of human resources, team member and labor relations principles, practices and procedures.
Ability to create strong business relationships with business leaders and key stakeholders.
Ability to work collaboratively across a large, matrixed healthcare organization to ensure HR programs and messaging are delivered quickly, consistently, and effectively across multiple channels and locations.
