Job Title: Traveling Service Technician

Job Description

The Service Technician is responsible for providing exceptional service and customer support during field visits or dispatches. This includes managing all on-site installations, repairs, maintenance, and test tasks. The role requires diagnosing errors or technical problems and determining proper solutions.

Responsibilities

+ Provide service and customer support during field visits or dispatches.

+ Manage on-site installation, repair, maintenance, and test tasks.

+ Diagnose errors or technical problems and determine proper solutions.

+ Assemble and install new machinery.

+ Troubleshoot industrial equipment or machinery.

Essential Skills

+ Mechanical experience or aptitude.

+ Electrical experience or aptitude.

+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.

+ Experience with industrial maintenance or field service technician work.

+ Knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulics.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Basic computer skills.

+ Excellent communication skills.

+ Flexibility to changing schedules and varying working environments.

Work Environment

The work environment includes a large facility with multiple buildings. The industrial facility is non-climate controlled and can be dirty at times. You will be working both onsite at the production facility and at various retail locations when performing repairs/service.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Springfield, Illinois.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $56160.00 - $93600.00/yr.

This is a fully onsite position in Springfield,IL.
