Job Title: General Production Worker - Weekly Pay

Job Description

The General Production Worker position involves handling bags of product weighing between 30-100lbs in a food production facility. The role requires individuals to read ingredients, count the number of bags on a pallet, stack and seal bags of product as they come off the production line, and bag products efficiently. You will also be responsible for dumping 50-pound bags of product into appropriate equipment.

Responsibilities

+ Read ingredients and count how many bags are on a pallet.

+ Stack bags of product as they come off the production line.

+ Seal bags of product as they come off the production line.

+ Bag product as it comes off the production line.

+ Dump 50-pound bags of product into appropriate equipment.

Essential Skills

+ General production skills

+ Ability to lift heavy bags weighing between 30-100lbs

+ Experience in bagging and packaging

+ Knowledge of quality production processes

+ General labor skills

+ Forklift operation

+ Machine operation and packing

+ Inspection and packing skills

+ Ability to load materials efficiently

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Monday – Thursday work schedule on 1st shift from 5:45am – 4:15pm

Work Environment

Work within a food production facility where powder food particles may float in certain areas. Safety PPE is mandatory, including full uniform from head to toe: safety hat, hair net, glasses, jacket, pants, and steel-toed shoes.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.45 - $18.45/hr.
