Job Title: General Laborer - Start Next Week!

Responsibilities

+ Use hand tools and equipment for cleaning tasks on machinery and work areas.

+ Perform cleaning of ash, oil spills, and other substances from machinery.

+ Conduct overall machine cleaning during shutdowns.

+ Lift, stoop, bend, squat, kneel, reach, and crawl as required for tasks.

+ Lift up to 50 lbs unassisted.

+ Climb ladders or stairs to access certain areas.

+ Wear appropriate PPE for specific work zones.

Essential Skills

+ Experience with general labor in manufacturing, industrial, or construction settings.

+ Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

+ Familiarity with using hand and power tools.

+ Capability to work varied hours, including early mornings or late evenings.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience with power washing or hydro blasting equipment.

+ Understanding of industrial cleaning processes.

+ Knowledge of confined spaces or respirator use.

Work Environment

Work as a third-party contractor at a steel mill in Delta, OH. Prepare for a hot, dirty, loud, and dusty environment. The standard workweek is 40 hours with shifts starting as early as 2 am. Overtime is available. PPE is required, including steel toe boots, eye protection, hard hats, and FR coveralls. Begin your day at 6:30 am with a standard 8-hour shift.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Delta, Ohio.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
