We are seeking an Information Security Analyst with expertise in cloud security to join our cybersecurity team. This role is responsible for safeguarding the bank-s systems, applications, and data by identifying risks, responding to threats, and supporting the implementation of security best practices across both on-premises and cloud environments.

This is an in-office position.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Perform risk and vulnerability assessments on internal systems, vendors, and applications; recommend effective mitigation strategies.

+ Monitor, investigate, and respond to alerts using cybersecurity tools such as SIEM, next-gen antivirus, email security tools etc.

+ Participate in incident response efforts-contain threats, assess impact, document findings, and support follow-up.

+ Create reports and briefings for leadership with clear security recommendations.

+ Perform the day-to-day operations and maintenance of cybersecurity technologies.

+ Collaborate with IT teams to ensure secure system configurations.

+ Engage in IT audits, penetration tests, risk assessments, and compliance checks.

+ Manage vulnerability scanning tools, interpret results, and assist in remediation.

+ Contribute to developing and maintaining security policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

+ Bachelor-s degree in information technology, computer science, or related field, or completion of an accredited cybersecurity training program.

+ 1-2 years of experience in Information Security or IT Security Operations.

+ Strong foundation in cybersecurity principles, incident response, and network security.

+ Experience working with security tools including firewalls, IDS/IPS, DLP, email security gateways, SIEM, and endpoint antivirus protection.

+ Experience with cloud security and cloud security best practices (AWS, Azure, Google, etc.).

+ Demonstrated understanding of security controls and architecture.

Preferred Qualifications:

+ Experience in financial services or another regulated industry.

+ Microsoft or other IT security certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, CompTia Cloud+, AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals).

+ Experience with penetration testing, vulnerability assessments, risk assessments, and/or red/blue team operations.
