JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY:
Responsible for daily revenue verification ensuring compliance to standard operating procedures and all established rules and regulations. In addition, Revenue Audit maintains records to record monthly revenue and related expenses to the financial statements which are relied upon by management for strategic planning and decision making.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
• Provides excellent guest service to both internal and external guests.
• Actively supports the company culture of creating a fun and entertaining experience for internal and external guests.
• Responsible for verification and reconciliation of prior day’s departmental financial related activities ensuring compliance with all applicable laws, rules, regulations, and controls of the company, Federal and State Tax Commission and the Gaming Commission.
• Thorough review and follow up of necessary revenue center generated report data on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
• Implements and monitors compliance with all policies and procedures, regulations, and controls of the company.
• Assists with the monitoring of all financial activities on property, with respect to Revenue Accounting, to ensure that all applicable laws, rules, regulations and controls of the company, the Federal and State Tax Commissions, and the Gaming Commission are enforced throughout the Revenue Accounting Department.
• Evaluates various situations, with respect to Revenue Audits, and determines how best to handle same.
• Ensures a maximum level of company-wide service and satisfaction, in the area of Revenue Accounting, is achieved and maintained.
• Facilitates the flow of information throughout the property, by attending regularly scheduled departmental meetings and conducting revenue/internal audit follow up.
• Held accountable for the accuracy and thoroughness of departmental records and reports.
• All other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
Associates Degree in Accounting Business Administration or related field, or equivalent combination of education/experience.
