Job Description

BAE Systems is seeking Liaison Support Officers (LSOs) to support a client s operational requirements in a challenging, dynamic setting located in the Washington Metropolitan Area. Successful LSO candidates will work in an integrated government-contractor team supporting liaison operations. Responsibilities include supporting a wide range of liaison and programmatic activities in an Area of Responsibility (AOR); management and tracking of visits and VIPs; supporting all aspects of liaison visits to/from the United States. LSOs will be expected to prioritize tasks and provide timely support to liaison guests. LSOs must be flexible, able to coordinate visits; attend events; and act as the POC for visits. LSOs must think critically and communicate clearly and accurately. Candidates should be comfortable drafting cables and responding professionally to requests for information.

The position requires an active Security Clearance with Polygraph; there is no exception to the clearance requirement. Successful candidates will work well in team environments and also be capable of operating independently with minimal supervision. Candidates will be expected to professionally interact with customer personnel at all levels within the customer organization, as well as with foreign dignitaries.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

+ Level 2 requires three (3) years of related work experience; Level 3 requires seven (7) years of related work experience

+ Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university

+ Knowledge of, and experience with, the fundamentals of intelligence tradecraft

+ Active Security Clearance with Polygraph

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

+ Experience in Intelligence Operations / Analysis / Support to Field Operations

+ Experience using customer databases to monitor field traffic and communicate with field offices

+ Prior experience with events planning

+ Foreign languages skills

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $92290 - $156860

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
