Job Description
The selected candidate will be responsible for filling the role of financial analyst, supporting various SCMS programs and miscellaneous task order awards, including some potential new contracts. As a financial analyst, you will prepare weekly and monthly financial reports that are delivered to the customer; analyze weekly general ledger reports from COGNOS and provide recommendations to contract program managers for increased financial success; prepare and submit adjusting entries as required when errors are discovered; review and approve contract modifications; enter budget and task information in local financial system and internal project set-up forms; manage subcontractor financial budgets and expenditures, including reviewing and approving subcontractor invoices; prepare and submit limitation of funds notifications; review revenue on a monthly basis and request corrections as needed; prepare financial portions of project performance reviews on a monthly basis, including the Contract Status Reports (CSRs); prepare and submit estimates for the customer; assist with quarterly financial forecasting; perform analysis for funding de-obligations and provide approved amounts to the customer; and perform other related duties as assigned.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
Bachelor's degree in Finance or related field and at least 2 years of relevant experience
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Advanced Excel skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
CostPoint/Deltek and Cognos experience
Experience with managing cost-plus task order contracts
Master's degree in finance or related field
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $66084 - $112343
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
