Full-Time Caregiver in the Northwest Suburbs of Chicago | $18 - $25 Per Hour | Weekly Pay Amada Senior Care Barrington is a dedicated home care agency providing compassionate and professional care to clients in their own homes. We specialize in delivering high-quality assistance with activities of daily living, ensuring that our clients receive the support they need to maintain their independence and quality of life.  Job Description: We are hiring Part-Time Caregivers with the skill, patience, and heart to provide care for bed-bound clients receiving hospice support. You’ll play a critical role in supporting not just daily living needs, but emotional well-being during end-of-life care. Experience with hospice clients, transfers, and incontinence care is strongly preferred.  Key Responsibilities * Bed Bound Support: Reposition clients for comfort, skin integrity, and pressure sore prevention, per care plan and hospice guidelines.  * Assist with Personal Care: Provide assistance with bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and other personal hygiene needs. * Meal Preparation: Prepare and serve meals according to dietary requirements and preferences. * Medication Reminders: Remind clients to take prescribed medications on time. * Companionship: Offer emotional support and engage in conversation to enhance clients' quality of life. * Light Housekeeping: Perform light housekeeping tasks such as laundry, dishwashing, and tidying up. * Communication: Report any decline, incident, or change in client condition to the Care Coordinator immediately. * Documentation: Accurately log ADLs, changes in condition, and shift notes via AxisCare. Requirements: * Experience working with bed-bound clients  * Confident assisting with brief changes, bed baths, and respositioning * Must have experience with end-of-life care * English Speaking * Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, compassion, reliability, and patience. * A Clean Driving Record/Personal Vehicle * Current Car Insurance * A Valid Driver’s License * 18 Years of Age or Older * 1+ Years of Caregiver Experience (Preferred) Qualifications: * Experience: Previous experience in home care or a similar role preferred. * Skills: Ability to submit documentation through mobile device  * Certification: CNA, HHA, or relevant certification is a plus   Availability: * Available for 20 hours per week (hours not guaranteed is based on client caregiver match) * Preferably flexible availability Why Join Us? * Competitive pay and flexible scheduling. * Opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of others. * Supportive work environment with ongoing training and development.
