    The **UW Medical Center-Montlake- 6SE Orthopaedics** has an outstanding opportunity for a **Patient Services Specialist Supervisor.** This position will report under the general direction of the Nurse Manager and Program Manager.

    WORK SCHEDULE

    + Part-time Days; 80% FTE

    + Monday-Friday 8-hour shifts

    + Opportunity to provide career growth **DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION** UWMC Montlake 6SE is a 28 bed inpatient Medical Progressive Care unit. We take complex medicine, orthopedic and neurosurgery spine cases. We have over 80 employees providing care in a multitude of roles. **RESPONSIBILITIES**

    + Coordination and monitoring of staff, scheduling systems, payroll and timekeeping systems, educational tracking systems and other systems that support the Nurse Manager

    + Customer service to patients, staff and medical team members

    + Interviewing and recommending the selection of candidates

    + Ordering of unit supplies, equipment and facilities management

    + Take a proactive role in efficient operations of the unit

    + Responsible for the overall leadership and supervision of the Patient Services Specialist and other assigned staff

    + Managing, collecting and reporting of unit data **QUALIFICATIONS**

    + A Bachelor’s Degree in a medically related or public relations field **AND**

    + One year experience in a healthcare setting which includes lead responsibility **OR**
