Position Overview: Join our team as a Stockroom Supervisor and take the lead in managing daily inventory operations for a well-established aerospace manufacturer in Fort Lauderdale. This full-time, first-shift role offers hands-on leadership, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and the stability of a long-standing company with great benefits. Key Responsibilities:
+ Supervise daily stockroom activities including receiving, issuing, and material handling
+ Process and record inventory transactions such as receipts, issues, and cycle counts
+ Conduct regular cycle counts and full physical inventories; investigate and reconcile discrepancies
+ Maintain accurate on-hand inventory balances and related documentation
+ Monitor stock levels and communicate with purchasing team to initiate replenishment to avoid shortages or overstocking.
+ Track receipts and inventory movement, generate reports, and ensure data accuracy
+ Implement proper handling, storage, and labeling practices and ensure traceability
+ Coordinate with Production Control, Receiving, Quality Assurance, and Manufacturing teams
+ Supervise and schedule stockroom staff; provide training on safety procedures, handling sensitive materials, and system usage.
+ Monitor performance and enforce company policies and procedures.
+ Foster a culture of accountability, efficiency, and safety.
+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints, BOMs (Bills of Material), or inventory documents
+ Adhere to all DG safety procedures and guidelines
+ Perform other duties as assigned by management
Qualifications Required:
+ Associate's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field
+ Minimum 5 years of experience in inventory, stockroom, warehouse, or receiving roles (preferably in a manufacturing or commercial facility)
+ Minimum 1 year of supervisory or team lead experience, including scheduling and training staff
+ Hands-on experience using an ERP or Warehouse Management System (e.g., Oracle, SAP, NetSuite, Infor)
+ Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., data entry, sorting/filtering, basic formulas)
+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints, BOMs (Bills of Material), or inventory documents
+ Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
+ Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand or walk for extended periods
+ Willingness to perform additional tasks as assigned by management
Preferred (Not Required)
+ Familiarity with quality standards such as AS9100 or ISO9001
