    Overview

    Job Summary

    This position manages all designated sites’ activities and personnel through analysis of system needs, planning and knowledge of complex network systems ensuring that all solutions are within the strategic business objectives of BMHCC. Under the general direction of the Site Director/Director of Information Systems and the Administrative Contact of the assigned facility, responsible for all shifts, 7 days/week, 24 hours/day. Incumbent is subject to overtime and on-call as required by BMHCC.

    Job Responsibilities

    + Works with the Site Director/Director to identify staff development, staffing requirements, recruitment needs and manages staff through efficient utilization of resources to ensure departmental/ organizational goals are met.

    + Facilitates the flow of information technology applications throughout the enterprise by identifying any problems in the current procedures and/or system and makes recommendations for solutions ensuring continuous information systems process.

    + Provides ongoing needs assessment by fitting needs to: available hardware, software, enhancements to current system or additional systems as necessary to ensure customer information systems needs are met/exceeded.

    + Manages and/or monitors projects and project schedules by maintaining up-to-date liaison with all involved entities in order to report project status to facility administration and the management of Information Systems.

    + Manages the process for completing facility specific requests and trouble calls by utilizing predefined procedures and goals established by Information Systems management. Provides technical and operational support on installed systems by utilizing extensive technical knowledge resulting in appropriate technical design of systems software, networks and telecommunications.

    + Responsible for keeping the local data center operational to minimize user downtime.

    + Responsible for inventory control of the hardware equipment stored on site and managing the equipment that is utilized by the end user.

    + Performs related accountabilities/responsibilities as required or directed.
