The university seeks to fill one full-time tenure track faculty appointment beginning August 2025. This position requires an elementary education and elementary reading endorsement with at least three years of reading experience. The ideal candidate should have a doctorate in education or a related field. Candidates who are ABD and/or highly experienced master’s level candidates will be considered. Previous experience in higher education is preferred for this faculty appointment.
The Education Department offers the opportunity to teach and study in our Professional Development School (PDS) programs, including junior—and senior-level interdisciplinary courses in public and private schools. Majors and areas of study at the PDSs include elementary, secondary, reading, and special education. This position will also include additional opportunities to teach in our online elementary Accelerated Teacher Certification Pathway.
