    Job Overview

     

    Express Employment has partnered with a local company to search for Welders to join their team in Dyersville.

    Hours:

    + 1st Shift: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM

    + Mandatory overtime until 3:30 PM due to high demand

    Responsibilities:

    + Fabricate and weld products according to company specifications.

    + Assemble various products as per job instructions and supervisor directions.

    + Perform necessary checks and quality assurance of products.

    + Operate hand and machine tools and welding equipment.

    + Join structures and assemble parts through welding, bolting, or riveting.

    + Maintain equipment in a safe, clean, and good working order.

    + Communicate with the supervisor regarding any parts/fabrication discrepancies.

    + Clock each job in and out using the ERP computer system.

    + Keep the workshop area clean and tidy, ensuring a safe working condition.

    + Ensure compliance with OSHA, company policies, and legislation.

    + Care for and use all workshop tools and equipment, returning them to their correct place after use.

    + Assist in stock takes as directed and required.

    + Perform other duties as requested.

    Skills and Knowledge:

    + Proven working experience as a Fabricator.

    + Fabrication/Welding certification.

    + Ability to read drawings, job specifications, and instructions.

    + Good time management skills.
