THE WORK
Responsibilities include management and oversight of Production Operations for the Syracuse factory which manufactures a diverse portfolio of products in radar systems, radar sensors, undersea acoustic sensors, RF systems as well as associated electrical and mechanical hardware\. Syracuse production operations is within Lockheed Martin’s Rotary and Mission Systems \(RMS\) line of business \(LoB\), and supports the Integrated Warfare Systems & Sensors \(IWSS\) and C6ISR market segments\.
The individual leads a multifaceted team of 400\+ manufacturing personnel including both the represented, skilled labor work force as well as a team of supervisors and managers of various work centers to ensure all cost, schedule and quality requirements meet or exceed customer needs\. In addition to day\-to\-day operations, responsibilities include staff line\-balancing across work\-centers, support planning of the overall long range plan \(LRP\) to ensure production operations is prepared to meet LoB needs\.
Lead continuous improvement initiatives to reduce defects, improve efficiency, and drive improvements in various factory performance metrics to meet current program needs and overall business competitive posture\. As a member of the Syracuse Production senior leadership team, this individual will collaborate with other functional leaders within the business to execute current production programs, support the LRP, manage risks and opportunities in the factory that impacts Quality, Manufacturing Program Management, Manufacturing Engineering, Materials Management and Factory Performance to meet the needs of our customers and expectations of our shareholders\.

Basic Qualifications:
• 10 years management experience in a manufacturing discipline for the Defense Industry
• Proven History of Leadership and organization management
• Proven financial management expertise
• Demonstrated ability to manage multi\-functional teams recommend/implement manufacturing changes resulting in successful and improved outcomes\.
• Strong communication, influencing and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage teams in dynamic environment across multiple locations
• Strong Knowledge of Manufacturing and Program office
• Some Travel Required

Desired Skills:
• Thorough knowledge of IWSS/C6 programs and customers
• Strong understanding of RMS manufacturing process and flow of production
• Knowledge and experience working with radar technology
• Bachelor’s Degree in a technical, project management or business field\.
• Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt Certified
• Ability to create strong and lasting relationships with all internal and external stakeholders
• Familiarity with management of various program types;
• Cost Plus, Fixed Price, IDIQ, BOA, IWTA, services and product related

**Ability to Work Remotely:** Onsite Full\-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility\.
**Work Schedules:** Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees\. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed\. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits\.
**Schedule for this Position:** 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
**Pay Rate:** The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York \(excluding most major metropolitan areas\), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Washington or Washington DC is $138,100 \- $243,455\. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location\. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only\. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as \(but not limited to\) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer\.

\(Washington state applicants only\) Non\-represented full\-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off \(PTO\) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays\. Represented full time employees accrue 6\.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays\. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year\.
This position is incentive plan eligible\.
**Pay Rate:** The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California and New York is $158,800 \- $275,195\. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location\. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only\. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as \(but not limited to\) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer\.
