    **Onsite** -This role is categorized as onsite. This means the successful candidate is expected to report to Lockport, New York, on a full-time basis.

     

    The Role

     

    The **Controls Engineer** is an Individual contributor with recognized expertise responsible for troubleshooting, problem solving and continuous improvement on manufacturing equipment throughout the plant.

    What You'll Do (Responsibilities):

    + Work cross-functionally with diverse teams throughout the plant to troubleshoot issues effectively.

    + Identify and document system vulnerabilities, and develop inclusive mitigation action plans; track corrective actions to ensure accountability.

    + Design and manage key strategic interfaces within systems to promote component reuse and consistency with best practices.

    + Create and implement tests to efficiently identify opportunities for design improvements.

    + Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to foster innovation and continuous improvement

    Additional Job Description

    **Your Skills and Abilities (Required Qualifications):** ​

    + Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, or equivalent experience

    + Experience working in a Manufacturing Environment

    + Experience in PLC and HMI programming

    + Ability to work from **2pm to 10:30pm.**

    + Ability to work OT as needed

    + Strong technical knowledge of electrical/control systems and the ability to apply these concepts within a manufacturing environment

    + Knowledge of servo motors, motion control and drives

    + Demonstrated understanding of mechanical concepts involving machine designs, process requirements involved in the manufacturing process

    + Ability to use computer, interpret blueprints, engineering drawings and learn new systems

    + Demonstrated ability to manage multiple and significantly complex projects and assignments with high level of autonomy and accountability for results

    What Can Give You a Competitive Edge (Preferred Qualifications):

    + 3+ years of demonstrated technical knowledge of electrical/control systems and ability to apply these concepts within a manufacturing environment

    + 3+ years of experience in Control Architectures:- PLC: Allen Bradley- Robotics: Fanuc / ABB- Vision: Cognex / Keyence

    + Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics

    + Knowledge of high voltage power distribution

    Compensation

    + The expected base compensation for this role is : $76,100.00 - $121,600.00 USD Annual. Actual base compensation within the identified range will vary based on factors relevant to the position.

    + **Bonus Potential:** An incentive pay program offers payouts based on company performance, job level, and individual performance.
