This position exists to provide individualized and consultative clinical support to persons with severe behavioral challenges and their support teams. The services Successful Life Project provides help to prevent re-institutionalization and support people to live in the community of their choice, including recognizing and respecting the diversity of the community of their choice. The Successful Life Project also works with the person’s care providers to use equitable and person-centered, positive behavior supports and addressing health or medical needs. These services can help improve a person’s overall quality of life.
Behavior Analyst Senior clinicians maintain knowledge of organizational policies and procedures, and take measures to ensure a safe, secure, and therapeutic environment.
Behavior Analyst Senior clinicians function as a lead clinician on the treatment team, taking on a leadership role and additional responsibilities as assigned.
Behavior Analyst Senior clinicians are required to be board certified in Behavior Analysis and be licensed in the State of Minnesota to practice Behavior Analysis.
Responsibilities include but may not be limited to:
+ Act as a clinical consultant for persons with severe behavioral challenges, and their support teams.
+ Complete clinical assessments to articulate appropriate community supports for persons with clinically complex needs and their support networks.
+ Develop, implement, and maintain data analysis of Successful Life Project’s consultation model and its effectiveness for the people supported **.**
+ Identify needs for, develop and present trainings to Successful Life Project customers, both internal and external, to enhance community capacity to support persons with clinically complex needs with an emphasis on facilitating positive team outcomes.
Minimum Qualifications

For Behavior Analyst:
Must be a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) (NOTE: Applicants that have met the educational requirements for certification may be considered for a provisional appointment until fully certified).
AND
Must have a valid driver’s license.
For Behavior Analyst Senior:
Must be a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) **AND** satisfy the following required work experiences:
+ One (1) year of post-Master’s degree experience providing clinical services and working with people who have an intellectual and developmental disability.
+ Must have a valid driver’s license.
Preferred Qualifications
+ Strong human relations and communication skills; communicate clearly and professionally both verbally and in writing; respond openly to requests and concerns.
+ Understanding of positive behavior supports and person-centered practices.
+ Experience developing and conducting training for residential providers and/or direct care staff.
+ Variety of experiences working effectively with others from different backgrounds and cultures.
