NC Programmer - FLRAA Location: Fort Worth, TX Job ID: #70466 Pay Range: $40-70 AN HOUR 12 MONTH CONTRACT •OnSite Only • 0700-1530 M-F •Description: •Must have experience with CATIA (V6 / 3DX) and visible on the resume. -Interrogate, analyze, comprehend, and interpret various Engineering Drawings, Models, Bills of Materials, Technical Specifications, Quality Documents, Bell Process Framework, and departmental procedures as necessary to perform assigned work. -Provides MCAD operational models and 2D drawings for manufacturing process planning sequences as required. -Provide process liaison support for manufacturing operations when MCAD models with 2D drawings exist as required. -Develops, Creates and Maintains Tooling/Fixture definition for manufacturing operations for all media types including MCAD and manual legacy designs. -Executes creation and maintenance of CATIA (V6 / 3DX) programs and operator instructions for Numerical Controlled equipment. -Responsible for developing, creating, and maintaining Loft MCAD models, flat patterns and associated digital tooling programs. -Working knowledge of CATIA (V6 / 3DX) NC Programming, Loft, Engineering, Tool Design, -Manufacturing and Planning processes and procedures. -Skilled in the concept related to the application of GD&T/Aerospace tolerances. -Supports producibility assessments when requested. -Maintains records and schedules of work assigned. -Will meet established company cost control standards, schedule and quality requirements to maintain market competitiveness. -Provide technical assistance to procurement and suppliers as determined by management. -Execute strong communication skills, both verbal and written, required to communicate and interact between internal and external customers. -Apply extensive aircraft manufacturing knowledge and be prepared to train, direct, instruct, mentor and check/validate Production Engineering work. -Required to attend training and complete competency-based testing as required by management to remain current with technological advancements. Qualifications - External •Educational Requirements: -Four (4) years college or eight (8) years of experience in the aircraft industry. Demonstrated capability to adequately perform the essential functions and responsibilities related to the application of GD&T/Aerospace tolerances.
