Our client, a leader in the aerospace industry, is seeking an Avionics Software Development Engineer to join their team. As an Avionics Software Development Engineer, you will be part of the engineering department supporting various teams in the development of cutting-edge avionics systems. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and effective communication skills which will align successfully in the organization.

Contract on W2
What's the Job?
+ Develop systems and software requirements from application specifications.
+ Execute system test cases on integration benches to ensure functionality.
+ Identify and debug issues at the system level while understanding interactions with other aircraft systems.
+ Participate actively in driving subsystem and system integration efforts.
+ Collaborate with diverse teams to ensure successful project outcomes.
What's Needed?
+ Proficiency in C/C++ and experience with RTOS (RMA or ARINC 653).
+ Familiarity with OpenGL/Vulkan and understanding of DO-178/ARP4754 standards.
+ Good understanding of avionics design, product development, and system integration.
+ Experience in verification and validation (V&V) for Design for Test (DFT).
+ Strong troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve issues during application or flight testing.
