    Responsibilities

    Oversee and provide executive leadership to nursing organization. Responsible for the development of overall strategic nursing plan.

     

    + Collaborate with hospital leadership and medical staff to identify and develop new patient care programs, policies, procedures, and practice standards for the nursing departments.

    + Develop and implement a program to measure, assess and improve the quality of nursing care provided by the organization.

    + Evaluate the function and structure of assigned areas to best determine the allocation and utilization of services and budgets appropriately according to strategic goals.

    + Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations related to nursing services and healthcare.

    Requirements

    Licensure / Certification / Registration:

    + Registered Nurse obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

    Education:

    + Master's degree required.

    Work Experience:

    + 5 years of experience required.

    + 10 years of experience preferred.

    + 2 years of leadership or management experience required.

    + 5 years of leadership or management experience preferred.
