Job Summary:

Austin Heart would like to recruit a part-time (.6 FTE) NP or PA to join the largest cardiology group in Central Texas at our Austin location.

Qualified Candidates:

+ Board certified ACNP or PA

+ No FNPs

+ Working with one interventional cardiologist and general cardiologist

+ Prior cardiology experience preferred

+ Call: 7 weekends a year

+ 24 hrs per week : Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm

+ Combination of inpatient rounding and outpatient clinic

+ Start date: ASAP

+ Licensed in the state of Texas

+ The APP is responsible for obtaining patient histories and performing examinations, ordering testing and developing a treatment plan, monitoring the effectiveness of therapeutic interventions, and providing patient education under the direction/supervision of the supervising cardiologist

+ The candidate should have a strong background in EHR as well as possess high-level organizational and communication skills
