We are seeking a **Environmental Field Technician (NDEC Technician 1)** to join our Sulphur, LA team! Come join us!

Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:

+ Maintain assigned PPE, Project Equipment & Supplies

+ Perform component field inspections in accordance with Method 21 standards and techniques

+ Perform required visual inspections in accordance with applicable regulations

+ Maintain LDAR monitoring equipment per manufacturers guidelines

+ Perform daily instrument calibrations and quarterly certifications in accordance with Method 21 and any site-specific rules

+ Identify changes to Component Inventory in field and log appropriate comment to correct issue IE Missing Tag (MT), Removed from Service (RFS), Temporarily Out of Service (TOS)

+ Identify and log any Open-Ended Lines (OEL) found in field

+ Attain basic understanding of all regulations and rules applicable to assigned site

+ Performs all assigned task with little to no supervision

+ Actively engages leadership for Career Path Guidance and Advancement Opportunities

+ Completes all assigned reoccurring training before due date

+ Adheres to ATLAS Work Attendance Policy

+ Maintains a professional appearance and attitude at all times

+ Adheres to all ATLAS company policies and procedures

Minimum requirements:

+ High School Diploma or Equivalent

+ Valid Driver’s License

+ Able to pass annual background screening and random D&A testing

+ Meets Physical and Work Environment requirements

+ Must have reliable transportation to and from work

+ Previous LDAR experience or experience working in petrochemical facilities/outdoor industrial environments preferred but not required.

Technical requirements:

+ Must be able to work in extreme hot and cold weather conditions.

+ Must be able to carry a 30lb backpack for approximately six hours a day.

+ Must be able to climb in pipe racks, multiple flights of stairs, and tall ladders to monitor components.

+ Must be able to work at heights up to 200 ft.

+ Basic computer skills.

+ Basic mechanical skills/mechanically inclined
