About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking an Institutional Investment Operations Specialist in Non-Financial Regulatory Reporting as part of our Corporate Investment Banking (CIB) Operations division. Learn more about our career areas and lines of business at wellsfargojobs.com.
In this role, you will:
+ Reviewing transaction reporting submission to US regulators (CFTC/CSA/SEC), investigate breaks and resubmit upon rejections.
+ Monitoring performance of non-financial regulatory reporting through data analysis and reconcilements.
+ Working with Middle Office teams to understand and correct errors and late reporting.
+ Identifying opportunities to improve productivity in the data management and reporting processes.
+ Collaborating with partners in Technology and Middle Office in identifying, assessing, escalating and resolving problems.
+ Testing of technology changes affecting systems instrumental in assigned areas of NFRR.
+ Reviewing and understanding of relevant regulatory technical standards, rules, and regulations.
+ Creating and maintaining review and testing templates for multiple kinds of NFRR based on policy and regulatory requirements.
+ Conducting analysis as part of an intake process for new NFRR that come into scope for the team.
+ Presenting and maintaining program information and reporting in Confluence and Jira.
+ Outreach and collaboration with other NFRR Analysts and support partners in Compliance and Technology to maintain program information.
+ Assignment, scheduling, tracking, and reporting of the program control activities and projects.
+ Working with others to build and test new reporting and controls
+ Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
Required Qualifications:
+ 2+ years of Institutional Investment Operations experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
+ Bachelor’s degree in finance, Management, Accounting and/or Economics
+ Sound analytical skills and attention to detail
+ Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast paced and fluid environment
+ Ability to adapt and learn new systems, processes, and regulations quickly, and on a regular basis
+ Sound Business Writing and Communication Skills
+ Ability to convey processes, procedures, guidelines, and analytics to variety of audiences
+ Self-motivated and a strong desire for continued learning
+ Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Access including formulas, macros, pivot tables, queries and reporting
+ Ability to work across multiple work streams to analyze business processes to determine appropriate solutions
+ Ability to interact professionally with customers, business partners, peers, and upper management
