Here’s Where You Come In
The P&C Operations Analyst works closely with the COO and the Operations team to support the data integrity of our systems and provide key business intelligence to our regional teams. This is a specialized role, focused specifically on the Property & Casualty side of our business, assisting the leaders of both our Commercial Lines and Personal Lines teams with data and analytics. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying data entry errors, making corrections, streamlining workflows, calculating and auditing commission payments and transactions, forecasting and tracking financial results, and developing and maintaining scorecards and reports for our staff, in addition to supporting our Operations team with ad hoc projects. The ideal candidate is both a team player and self-starter who is able to work with minimal direction while maintaining high levels of service and quality.
Job Responsibilities:
+ Producer commissions:
+ Serve as the primary point of contact for producer questions around commission payments.
+ Perform monthly commission audits to ensure accurate payments to sales and service team members.
+ Manage producer commission review, updates, corrections, and reports, and respond to inquiries from sales and service staff around commission payments.
+ Update and manage commission rate tables to align with our compensation plan and producer agreements.
+ Train staff on commission calculations, system split setups, and statements.
+ Data audits:
+ Perform weekly, monthly, and quarterly audits of all data across our systems, including but not limited to payee and commission setups, sub-broker and contractor setups, policy structures, account and service team fields, and posted versus estimated revenue.
+ Process data corrections and updates as needed, including updating payee setups, team account assignments, and more.
+ Work closely with leadership, sales, and service teams on corrections, process improvement, and training.
+ Accounting support:
+ Review and respond to accounting questions around system corrections and revenue posting challenges.
+ Audit and ensure correct posting of revenue in our systems, including working closely with both accounting and service teams on updates or corrections needed.
+ Support HUB corporate teams with obtaining and reviewing carrier statement detail.
+ M&A integration support:
+ Support team with M&A integration activities including management of data collection and review.
+ Audit all integrated M&A data to ensure accuracy of data setup, and support team with processing any data corrections needed.
+ Train integrated staff on HUB commission processes and statements.
+ Quarterly override and bonus calculations:
+ Calculate quarterly override and bonus payments for team members and leaders, and submit results to payroll for processing.
+ Respond to and support team with investigating questions around quarterly results.
+ Scorecards and reporting:
+ Manage forecasting and tracking of new and lost business, rate and timing events, and prospect data.
+ Support regional teams with ad hoc requests for scorecards, data, reports, and analytics.
+ Identify areas for continuous process improvement and support Operations team in implementing workflow and resource changes.
+ Develop and maintain strong relationships with regional and corporate leaders and other key staff.
+ Foster team behavior and a sales-oriented department culture.
+ Follow agency procedures and insurance company regulations.
+ Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
+ Microsoft Excel expertise required.
+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills coupled with thoroughness, organization, and attention to detail.
+ Must be a self-starter with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure without comprising quality or service.
+ Successful experience managing demanding deadlines, changing requirements, and working with limited resources and information.
+ Keeps commitments; keeps others informed of work progress, timetables, and issues; addresses problems and issues constructively to find mutually acceptable and practical business solutions.
+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
+ Maintains a high level of professionalism, integrity, and trust at all times.
+ 2-5 years of experience performing financial or data analytics work.
+ Experience with insurance, finance, or related field preferred.
+ Power Query, Power Pivot, Power BI, Power Automate, SQL, VBA, computer programming, or other data analytics experience preferred.
+ Work with minimal supervision.
+ Bachelor’s Degree in mathematics, finance, accounting, or related field.
