    Primary Purpose

     

    Our Corporate Quality Manager is responsible for managing and maintaining the QMS Audit program (Internal/External) and driving risk-based activities in accordance with the Corporate Quality Audit calendar. This position will report to the Corporate Director Quality System and Compliance.

    Major Responsibilities

    + Manage Quality Management System Internal/External Audit program in partnership with the business leaders, corporate teams, manufacturing sites, and associated distribution sites.

    + Ensures risk-based audits are conducted according to the annual QMS audit schedule and distribute audit reports to management in a timely fashion.

    + Primary Liaison with certification bodies to manage audits (certification and/or surveillance) and inspection outcomes.

    + Facilitate Monthly CAPA Review Board process and hold monthly/quarterly meeting to drive evaluation of risk into CAPA process.

    + Prepares the following monthly and quarterly reports that:

    + ​Evaluate risk based key performance indicators for the audit program to measure process effectiveness and excellence

    + Track corrective actions to determine if commitments have been properly implemented and demonstrated to be effective

    + Advises Corporate Quality and other senior staff on critical matters such as compliance risks not meeting the ISO standards or customer satisfaction requirements at the Corporate/business level, manufacturing sites, and related distribution sites. (including potential issues/opportunities for improvement)

    + Leads and/or participate in strategic compliance initiatives to improve compliance and customer satisfaction.

    + Deploy and maintain QMS guest auditor (center of excellence) program.

    + Stay informed about industry trends, regulatory changes, and advancements in audit management practices.

    + Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 40% travel

     

    Minimum Job Requirements

    Education

    + Bachelor’s Degree or educational equivalent. Master’s degree Preferred

    + 7 years of relevant auditing experience.

    + 2 years of improvement or project management related experience.

    Certification / License

    + Lead Auditor certification required

    + Six Sigma, Quality Engineer, and/or Lean Certification preferred

    Work Experience

    + 10+ years in Quality and Quality management principles

    + 5 + years leadership experience

    + 7+ years Auditing experience

    + Demonstrated ability to conduct Compliance monitoring and Compliance audit projects.

    + Demonstrated ability to provide effective compliance Training.

    + Ability to coach and mentor.

    **Physical Demands** : While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear; and use hands to manipulate objects or controls. The employee is regularly required to stand and walk. On occasion the incumbent may be required to stoop, bend or reach above the shoulders. The employee must occasionally lift up to 25 - 50 pounds. Specific conditions of this job are typical of frequent and continuous computer-based work requiring periods of sitting, close vision and ability to adjust focus. Occasional travel.
