As Senior Category Manager, Recommerce you will oversee multi-billion Retail Recovery P&L, and work with Operations, Channels, Legal, Retail Category teams and OEMs to lead recovery and cost initiatives to improve P&L inputs. You will create new business models to grow our recovery business. You will define product requirements for tech prioritization.
Key job responsibilities
Lead cross-functional initiatives to improve recovery/free cash flow and promote circular economy/sustainability goals.
Partner with Retail teams and OEMs to collect manufacturing requirements, refurbishment standards and best practices to improve internal grading and repair capabilities, and grow our business
Monitor overall Retail Recovery profitability
Deep dive into drivers of profitability and lead initiatives to reduce expense across reverse supply chain
Create product requirements to be prioritized by tech teams
Basic Qualifications
5+ years of category or program management experience
Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
Experience owning category or program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
Knowledge of Excel at an intermediate level (e.g., pivot tables & charts, multiple criteria lookups, nested logical/IF formulas, data cleansing, array formulas, etc.)
Experience overseeing business performance
Preferred Qualifications
Intermediate SQL skills
Advanced Degree in Engineering, Finance or Business

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $126,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $208,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
