    Overview

     

    Dartmouth Health, one of the nation’s leading academic health systems and a recognized innovator in clinical care and health policy, is seeking a faculty member with expertise or strong interest in Pathology Informatics and Surgical Pathology to join our collegial and collaborative Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center, located in scenic Lebanon, New Hampshire.

     

    We are particularly interested in individuals who also bring interest or experience in laboratory management and are enthusiastic about contributing to the system-wide integration of pathology and laboratory services, including the development of our digital pathology and genome informatics platforms. Leadership opportunities as a medical director in one or more of our regional hospitals are available.

    Qualifications:

    * Board certified/board eligible in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology

    * Board certified/board eligible in Clinical Informatics

    * Interest or experience in laboratory management and medical directorship

    * Eligibility for medical licensure in New Hampshire and Vermont

    * Practice based in New Hampshire/Vermont Regional Hospitals and at the Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, NH close to the campus of Dartmouth College in the heart of the beautiful Upper Connecticut River Valley.

    * Service work, sign out, telepathology and after hours call in General Surgical Pathology.

    * Medical directorship of affiliate regional laboratories in New Hampshire and Vermont

    * Active participation in the academic mission of the department, including clinical research and teaching of medical students at Dartmouth’s Geisel School of Medicine, and trainees in Pathology.

    * An academic appointment, commensurate with experience, will be requested at Dartmouth’s Geisel School of Medicine

    * Excellent facilities for diagnostic applications and collaborative research activities, including a state-of-the-art, on-site clinical genomics laboratory and an active pathology informatics group.
