    Job Description

    Position Purpose:

    The VP, Corporate Domain Leader & Enterprise Solutions will develop, plan, and implement an information digital technology (IT) strategy that meets the business needs, delivers optimal return on investment, drives innovation, enhances efficiency, and maintains utmost security. With respect to Enterprise Solutions Development, this strategic VP will partner closely with Business leadership to develop a high-performing team and drive operational improvements that support business/customer success and the attainment of revenue goals.

    Primary Duties/Responsibilities:

    + The Domain Lead is part of the Business Org and is responsible for the Digital and Tech for his / her Business Unit

    + The Domain Lead participates in the BU Executive Committee

    + The Domain Lead meets at least once a month with the BU Executive VP:

    + For the RUN: report the level of the different services

    + For the BUILD:

    + report the advancement of the different BU projects and define action plans to decrease the risks as needed

    + ensure that it reviews the priorities of its project portfolio with Business

    + maintain a single Digital Roadmap

    + Responsibilities in support of BU/Domain level development and relationship building:

    + Collaborates with members of the BU executive team to identify ways IS&T can assist the BU/Domain in achieving business and financial goals

    + Participates in BU/Domain planning session to plot the growth of the BU/Domain

    + Anticipates any resulting organizational modifications

    + Develops and implements the IT budget designed to enhance BU/Domain profitability and efficiency and Safety

    + Communicates goals, projects, and timelines of the BU/Domain to their team; plans ways to execute those goals within the department

    + Establishes long-term needs and plans and develops strategies for developing systems and acquiring software necessary to meet the BU/Domain need

    + Assists as top-level contact for end-users in determining IS requirements and/or solutions

    + Leads efficient operation of the team so that prompt modernization and upgrades of BU/Domain systems are performed as needed

    + Responsibilities at Domain level:

    + Ensures compliance with government regulations that apply to systems operations

    + Ensures all applications align with Corporate CyberSecurity policies and procedures

    + Oversees projects

    + Conducts performance evaluations and career planning of staff that are timely and constructive

    + Mentors staff members to ensure their goals align with BU/Domain goals and the staff members' personal development goals

    + Executes projects in Agile (at time Waterfall) methodologies

    + Functions as PM or Scrum Lead to ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget with the desired outcomes

    + Puts in place analytics to measure and ensure adoption, taking corrective action when required

    + Acts in an Agile manner. have the team prepared for sharp changes in direction or new, immediate projects

    + Responsibilities attached to managing Enterprise Applications:

    + Collaborates with business stakeholders to identify, design and implement digital solutions

    + Ensures technologies are efficient, cost effective and secure; evaluates and implements new systems, discover and implement digital solutions

    + Communicates and explains digital solutions and opportunities to management and staff

    + Provides timely/responsive technical support both within and across departments, businesses and applications

    + Actively participates in internal and client audits related to digital solutions and is responsible for ensuring systems meet all local, municipal, and federal regulations

    + Actively participates in client audits related to infrastructure and is responsible for ensuring systems meet all international regulations

    + Supports Disaster Recovery, Business Continuity planning, and testing

    + Manages change management processes associated with upgrades, troubleshooting or installation of new business applications and systems; includes coordinating with business units, impacted customers, and technical teams

    + Actively participates as a part of the department leadership team to develop long- and short-term strategies, set and achieve measurable goals and objectives, and develop action plans with challenging but realistic deadlines

    + Maintains metrics necessary to support SLA, KPI, and KRI reporting related to digital offers optimization and adoption

    + Participates in budgeting process to ensure service agreements and contracts are budgeted for renewals

    + Actively works towards continuous improvement and proactively looks for opportunities to increase efficiencies, refine processes, and cut costs with internal IT processes, as well as throughout the business

    + Stimulates adoption of technology, vendor partnerships, and solution-based opportunities through effective communication, change management, and visibility across the business domains

    + Researches and reviews industry trends to benchmark services and strategies

    + Acts as a thought partner to the Zone CIO and other Domain Leads on issues relating to digital technologies and security strategies

    Qualifications

    Education/Experience/Background:

    + Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or Information Technology, Business Administration required or any other related field with the appropriate experience

    + At least 8 years of experience in the administration of information systems and technology, with an increasing level of responsibility throughout

    Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

    + Excellent managerial skills

    + Demonstrated experience working with executive leaders to present solutions that meet business needs

    + Thorough understanding of information technology and information technology systems

    + Work in collaboration with Domain/Business Leaders, CIO, and IT leadership team to execute organizational strategic plans

    + Thorough knowledge of Project Management methodologies (Agile and Waterfall) and differing variations

    + Excellent verbal and written communication skills

    + Proficient in Google Workplace or related software

    + Excellent ability to conceptualize long-term business goals and develop orderly processes to accomplish those goals

    + Proven emphasis on user-focused solution design and product refinement

    Physical Requirements:

    + The role will require the employee to travel 35% of the time.
