Description We are looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to join a dynamic team in Louisville, Kentucky. In this role, you will play a critical part in analyzing and interpreting financial data to guide decision-making and improve performance across multiple industries. This position offers an opportunity to leverage your expertise in financial reporting, variance analysis, and advanced Excel capabilities.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and deliver monthly financial reports with insights on key performance indicators and trends.

• Conduct detailed variance analyses to identify discrepancies and recommend actionable solutions.

• Develop and maintain financial reporting models using advanced Microsoft Excel functions.

• Collaborate with the Regional Controller to support budgeting and forecasting processes.

• Perform ad hoc financial analyses to address specific business needs and challenges.

• Assist in strategic planning by providing data-driven insights and projections.

• Lead special financial projects aimed at improving operational efficiency and profitability.

• Ensure compliance with accounting principles and organizational policies in all reporting activities.

• Communicate findings and recommendations effectively to stakeholders, fostering informed decision-making. Requirements • Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial analysis or a related field.

• Proficiency in variance analysis, KPI reporting, and financial modeling.

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, macros, and complex formulas.

• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.

• Ability to conduct ad hoc analyses to resolve specific business questions.

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with attention to detail.

• Effective communication skills to present data and recommendations to stakeholders.

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.
