This is an exciting opportunity to expand your skills while working in the fast-paced construction sector.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Process invoices, payments, and receipts, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

+ Assist in monitoring project budgets and tracking expenses to ensure adherence to financial plans.

+ Regularly reconcile bank accounts and highlight any discrepancies for resolution.

+ Post journal entries, assist with month-end close processes, and ensure the general ledger is up to date.

+ Compile financial data to help produce accurate financial reports for management and stakeholders.

+ Assist in audits and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal accounting standards.

+ Work closely with project managers and vendors, providing support to ensure accurate financial recordkeeping for various construction projects.

Requirements

+ Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).

+ At least 1-2 years of accounting experience, preferably within the construction or project-driven industry.

+ Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or Viewpoint Vista) and Microsoft Excel.

+ Strong attention to detail with a proven ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

+ Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to collaborate in cross-functional teams.

+ Analytical mindset to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve financial discrepancies effectively.
