The ideal candidate will bring expertise in managing month-end close processes, reconciling accounts, and supporting both accounts payable and receivable functions.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the month-end close process, including preparing journal entries and reconciling accounts to ensure financial accuracy.

• Act as a backup for month-end responsibilities assigned to other team members.

• Provide assistance to the accounts payable team by ensuring proper coding and timely processing of invoices, credit card charges, and employee expense reports.

• Support the accounts receivable team by managing accurate billing and cash application processes.

• Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and organizational policies.

• Prepare necessary documentation and schedules to support annual audits and respond to audit inquiries.

• Contribute to the development and enhancement of procedures, processes, and internal controls.

• Assist with the financial integration of newly acquired companies.

• Collaborate on ad hoc projects and initiatives as needed.

Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.

• CPA certification or active pursuit of CPA certification is preferred.

• At least five years of experience in accounting or auditing.

• Proficiency in accounting systems and tools, including Microsoft Excel.

• Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

• Sound judgment with the ability to make timely and informed decisions.

• Adaptability and enthusiasm for working in a dynamic environment.
