Description We are looking for a dedicated Compensation & Benefits Specialist to join our team in Saint Louis, Missouri. This role primarily focuses on benefits administration, payroll tasks, and supporting employee needs related to leave and retirement processes. As a long-term contract position, it offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to a dynamic organization while ensuring seamless HR operations.
Responsibilities:
• Manage benefits administration, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and retirement plans.
• Process payroll tasks, including auditing timesheets and ensuring accurate payroll submissions.
• Oversee leave administration, retirement processing, and provide employee support for HR-related inquiries.
• Administer life event changes, open enrollment processes, and retirement benefits.
• Prepare and maintain benefits files and documentation according to organizational retention schedules.
• Process vendor invoices and ensure accurate benefits data management within HR systems.
• Conduct educational sessions on employee benefits at various locations.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and organizational policies.
• Generate Excel reports to support benefit vendor payments and internal audits.
• Facilitate onboarding sessions and deliver benefits orientation to new employees. Requirements • Associate’s degree or 60 college credit hours in Human Resources, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 4 years’ experience in benefits administration or a related HR role.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
• Familiarity with systems such as ADP Workforce Now, Ceridian, and UKG Ready.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling sensitive employee data.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities to manage competing priorities effectively.
• Exceptional communication and customer service skills to support diverse employee groups.
