Description

We are looking for a dedicated and meticulous Staff Accountant to join our growing team in Fresno, California. As a key member of the accounting department, you will handle critical financial functions such as general ledger management, reconciliations, and payroll support. Responsibilities:

• Perform general ledger accounting tasks, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.

• Prepare and review account reconciliations to maintain financial integrity.

• Support month-end and year-end closing processes by preparing necessary reports and analyses.

• Assist with payroll processing and ensure timely and accurate transactions.

• Maintain confidentiality and discretion when handling sensitive financial data.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline accounting processes and improve efficiency.

• Utilize and adapt to firm-specific accounting systems, including Orion Law.

• Provide support for audits and other financial reviews as needed.

• Contribute to the continuous improvement of accounting practices and procedures.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.

• A minimum of 3+ years of accounting experience is required.

• Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with Orion Law software is a plus.

• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong communication skills and a positive, team-oriented attitude.

• Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
