    Basic Job Functions:

    Nucor Steel-Hertford County is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Maintenance Mechanic. The successful candidate will coordinate housekeeping/safety efforts, be part of a team that performs maintenance on, repairs and improves the equipment at Nucor Steel-Hertford County as well as supporting the overall operation of the steel making process.     Minimum Qualifications:

    + 2 years of heavy industrial maintenance experience or relevant technical degree

    Preferred Qualifications:

    + 4 or more years of heavy industrial millwright experience

    + AWS Certified Welder

    + 2- or 4-year engineering or technical degree
