    *Position Summary:*

     

    Registration Specialist will minimize the financial risk of providing services by assessing the patient’s financial status, verifying all account information, computerized patient registration with EPIC, scan current patient’s information and updated their records in both systems. Crosstrain to all clerical areas (discharge, registration, referrals, estimates and procedures).

    Starting Pay $13.46 per hour

     

    *Minimum Qualifications:*

    *Required:*High School diploma or equivalent and knowledge of medical terminology. Experience in the medical field working in hospital or outpatient clinical setting.

    *Preferred:*Graduate of an approved medical approved program with medical terminology. At least one year’s experience as a registrar. Knowledge of electronic and automated insurance verification tools. Knowledge of third-party payer regulations and requirements. CPR
